It seems that the people that really do not like Vonage quality also have really slow Internet access. It is true that you really need higher speed access but that high speed can vary considerably. You are able to experience a 30% to 50% variation in your download rate. And do you believe that has an effect on the high quality of your calls. You better believe it.

So if your service drops calls or has poor quality reception, the first place I would look is at your broadband internet service provider.

Have them ping your router to obtain a gauge of the download speed. And think about purchasing a new router. You will be amazed at the speed difference and the improvement in Vonage quality.
